The value of our personal property changes over time. When selling, you should be aware of current values and of trends in antiquing and fashions. The non-professionals can overestimate the value of some items - guaranteeing they won't be sold - and underestimating the value of others - giving them away at a fraction of true market value.

We make it profitable. Not the rummage or garage sale you work so hard to organize - not auctions, with their limited clientele - no method of liquidation generates the consistently high returns of a Chattel Changers sale. And, with the availability of the Exchange, our consignment shop, your most valued items will not have to be sold below market value just to "move" them at a single event sale.

We make it easy. A successful sale is hard work. Clean goods, appealingly displayed, accurately priced at a well advertised sale generate the highest returns. We do it all: valuation, inventory (all items over $25), pricing, and advertising. We organize and clean as we go. Once the sale is over your house is "move in" clean. And within 15 days a check is in your hands.

Our services are covered by a percentage of sale. Our commission is 1/3 if sales total $6000 and over and 1/2 of sales totalled under $6000. If we predetermine that your sale will net under $6000 we may perform clean-out instead. There may be a fee for excess garbage. If an independent mover is hired to move unsold items to the shop his fees are passed along. The cost of advertising will be passed on to the client which will be discussed prior.

As much time as possible, because advertising is critical to a successful sale. The actual cleaning and preparation for the sale is done in a minimum of time for your greatest convenience and service.
